Bio

Heather Elise McLean was born in 1979 to two loving and wonderful parents, Gary and Sandra Sullivan. Growing up, her father introduced her to computers at an early age (he was an electronics engineer and later a programmer back in the day), and she has fond memories of plugging away at such geeky toys as the Sinclair ZX-81 and TRS-80 Color Computer. She used IBM-compatible PCs for most of the late 80s and mid 90s, but around 1998 she switched to Mac and hasn't looked back.

When not playing with computers, Heather enjoys reading and writing and playing roleplaying games with friends. Basically she enjoys anything that allows her to stretch her wild imagination. She lives in Fort Worth, Texas with her puppies, Wash and Eddie. Her loving partner of 4 years, Kas, attends school in Maryland.

Transgender? Transsexual? What mean these things?

Unless you came here from my LiveJournal, you probably haven't figured out that I am an openly transgendered (or transsexual person) of the MTF (male-to-female) persuasion. Most of the information I can tell you about myself in that regard is freely available from my journal postings. The links on the left may be helpful with more general resources.

I used to be pretty secretive and protective of this information, but I've realized that it feels a lot better to be open about it and take the occasional pain rather than live constantly with it bottled up inside. If you have any questions for me, feel free to contact me.
